Archive: 2013/2014 – Salem, MA

It has been quite a week for me. A health-related episode landed me in the hospital during the midweek, which was followed by several days of laying low at home recuperating. Since the hospital instructed me not to lift anything over ten pounds for the next six weeks, going out and taking pictures anytime soon is probably out of the question. So, for now, I will continue to comb through older photos and see if there are any I may have missed that I can play with and post. The following are two I found recently.

Photo Therapy For a Sad Sunday In August – 08.04.19

One way to deal with the horrible state of our society is to shut out the outside world and simply create. Writing a poem or short story, producing a song or, in my case, going through archives and finding some photos to dive into, edit and share with the world. Ones that suggest a sense of calm, of solitude. Of peace.

The four photos below were ones I chose to help me deal with this weekend’s horrible events here in North America, and they are ones that I dedicate to the 29 innocent souls who lost their lives in El Paso and Dayton, Ohio on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019.

May they be at peace.
