Happy Photography Day 2017!

Today is Photography Day. It is also the day the city of Boston shut down a small, petty band of racists through peaceful methods.

So, in honor of my hometown truly being Boston Strong – and to celebrate Photography Day,- I present this photo I took a few years ago of it at twilight.

Back to the Point – Marblehead, MA 06/10/17

With temps finally resembling summertime and neighbors celebrating high school graduations – Hootie and the Blowfish at full blast? Seriously?- it was high time for me to get out and head to my favorite spot in Marblehead. Alas, a house right next door was also having a high school graduation celebration. Fortunately, no Hootie and the Blowfish was to be heard.

Sunday Supermoon – Marblehead MA 11/13/16

The sun was shining, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and the temps were in the low 60s despite it being mid-November in New England. Today was a perfect day to witness -albeit a day early- the latest Super Moon. Lighthouse Point in Marblehead was a great place to witness the moonrise. It was a nice respite from the what had to be one of the longest weeks in recent memory. I hope you enjoy the pics as much as I did taking them.

On The Way Home From Work – 02/18/2016

I had a little extra time for myself after work last night. So after running an errand last night in Salem – and not having to head into Boston to work at job number two-, I decided to take the long way back home so I could enjoy the sunset along the North Shore. It was cold, but it was worth it.

More Winter Pics – February 5 & 6, 2016

A few additional shots I worked on today. Two of the pictures were taken today (2/6/16) around sunset in a remote part of Stoneham, Mass. That was the fun part. The not-so fun part was getting lost in the woods after it got dark. It was a good hour of hiking and what not, but next time I will stay on the beaten path. 😉

I’m Back!

Hello again! My apologies for the very lengthy leave of absence from the blog. Summer got busy in a big way with a new job, a few big photo gigs and continued work on my upcoming photo book On a Winter’s Day (due in November). I have a backlog of pics to share with you, which I will be doing…well…now!

Hope all is well on your end of the world and that you are out there taking as many photos as possible.
